Workshop "Communicating Clear Science"
Communicating science to audiences outside of the scientific community is not easy: the language used "among peers" is hard to understand, and the lack of a narrative thread can make topics uninteresting and overly complex. But, the good news is that the right strategies can help break down these communication barriers and turn them into bridges.
In this three-hour workshop, led by Cristina Soares, we will discuss how to simplify language and jargon, how to create compelling scientific stories, and how to adapt our communication to different target audiences. It will be an afternoon of sharing, exercises, and examples.
This workshop is aimed at all students, researchers, and educators who need to communicate science to the general public. It is free, but registration is required via the form below.
