On 9 December, Copenhagen hosted the workshop "Urban Spaces and Mental Wellbeing," organised by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The event brought together academics, urban planners, public health professionals, and startup representatives to discuss the findings of the European eMOTIONAL Cities project, which explores the relationship between urban environments and mental wellbeing.
During the second week of December, IGOT-ULisboa welcomed Professor Larissa Araújo Coutinho de Paula, from the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC), for a series of events culminating in the launch of the book "Socio-spatial Strategies and (Re)existence of Settled Women in São Paulo's Interior - Brazil," published by the Centre for Geographical Studies (CEG).
On November 22nd and 23rd, the 4th Luso-Brazilian Seminar on Geography and Education took place. The first day, held in the IGOT Conference Room and online, began with a lecture by Professor Vítor Teodoro, a leading figure in science and technology education, whose contribution proved particularly relevant to geographic education.
