Context and Objectives: The European research project "Territorial Governance of Unconventional Geographies" aims to improve the understanding of emerging functional territories in terms of their definitions, boundaries, development trends, and ongoing cooperation agreements.

Contribution to the Project: Development of the Portuguese case study focused on the themes "Water supply in metropolitan regions", "Ecological connectivity of protected areas", "Brown to Just Green Transition" and "Energy transition and energy saving".
