Three months after returning from Antarctica, with all cargo and samples finally in Portugal, the scientists of the Coastantar 2024 expedition invite you to learn more about the expedition and discuss its logistical and scientific outcomes.

The session will feature a brief presentation by the expedition coordinators, followed by a discussion with scientists from the universities of Lisbon, Algarve, and Coimbra.

Accompanied by some refreshments, come and learn more about polar sciences in Portugal, get to know the projects and participants, and see some of the equipment used.

The Portuguese Polar Program and the College of Polar Sciences and Extreme Environments at the University of Lisbon will be delighted to have your participation.
