On July 17, the General Council Meeting of the Observatory “SERVICES, URBAN COMPETITIVENESS, AND TERRITORIAL COHESION,” organised by the Portuguese Confederation of Commerce and Services (CCP), took place. Eduarda Marques da Costa, Ana Louro, and Pedro Franco, researchers from CEG/IGOT-ULisboa, participated as study authors. The study also involved the cartographic work of Vasco Costa, a student in the SIGOT Master's programme at IGOT-ULisboa.

The launch ceremony was attended by the Secretary of State for Planning and Regional Development, Dr. Hélder Reis, who highlighted the importance of the geographical approach in the analyses conducted.
