José Luís Zêzere is the scientific consultant for the documentary series "O Planeta Vivo"

The documentary series "O Planeta Vivo" premiered on July 3rd with the first of its six episodes, titled "A Terra" which featured the collaboration of the director of the Center for Geographical Studies (CEG), José Luís Zêzere, who is also the scientific consultant for the entire series.

On the day of the premiere, the researcher participated in the RTP program "A Nossa Tarde" to present the documentary.
"O Planeta Vivo" is a documentary series that offers a privileged view of the internal and external dynamics of the globe, highlighting the contribution of human action to the balance, or imbalance, of the Earth's system.

Over the course of 6 episodes, the evolution, structure, and functioning of Earth's subsystems - from the atmosphere to the lithosphere, through the hydrosphere and biosphere - are followed, highlighting the interactions they establish with each other that ensure life on Earth.

The episodes, which include collaboration from other CEG researchers, air every Wednesday at 22:55 on RTP 2 and RTP Play.
