Agustín Cocola-Gant wins the ULisboa/CGD Scientific Award 2024 in the field of Geography and Territory, and Cláudia Viana receives an honorable mention
Agustín Cocola-Gant, researcher at CEG/IGOT-ULisboa, won the 2024 edition of the University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Scientific Awards in the field of Geography and Territory (Physical and Human Geography, Territory, Urbanism and Planning, and Transport Systems). In the same scientific area, researcher Cláudia M. Viana (CEG/IGOT-ULisboa) received an Honourable Mention.
These annual awards aim to recognize scientific research activities and encourage the practice of international publication of recognized quality and impact.
The award ceremony for the ULisboa/CGD 2024 Scientific Awards will take place on June 25, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the Main Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Lisbon. The ceremony is preceded by the Scientific Journeys of the University of Lisbon, which will focus on the present and future impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on work.
